Roots and Routes of the African Diaspora

“You can’t really know where you are going until you know where you have been.”
— Maya Angelou

This year’s edition of CDC Festival will include an exhibition in the venue’s foyer, curated by MINCE e.V.
The artist collective “MÁVÁRÁ: Shades of Africa” is showcasing their diverse knowledge of the mother continent via visual art and vernacular storytelling accompanied by music.
The “Crowns Project” is an ongoing photo series dedicated to show the beauty, diversity, deep meaning and royalty of Afro hair for people of the African diaspora.

We cordially invite you to the official vernissage
on May 26, 2022 at 7 pm.
